Illumaids! [Closed]

Soooo. These aren't a species or anything? But maybe a concept?
Here's their story:

Illumaids are a type of deep sea mermaid. They have evolved from regular mermaids to have glowing fins and bright lights that project from their horns to help them see in the deep dark water. Their black eyes also work with the lights as a type of night vision filter. They have an affinity for shiny objects and jewellery found in shipwrecks and tend to feed on the bones of the drowned sailors trapped inside, long since forgotten (they would also feed on the bones of dead sea life but human bones are considered a delicacy)
The Illumaids make their homes in deep underwater caves, it is not uncommon to find many of these creatures living together in one cave. The population is majority male, though females can be born (ratio being 10 males to one female) Because of this ratio, some have evolved to be able to lay eggs and others can produce the necessary fertilization compounds to be able to create children (yes I just made up a fancy way to say sperm) They can also have physical sex for pleasure purposes.
Their fins can be made up of any material so long as it is recognisable as a fin! (Must represent some sort of sea creature, can be fish, squid, eels, snakes, whatever)

Yes, this batch is all male though you are free to change the gender if you wish! (But where's the fun in that)
I prefer you keep their cannon as I would like to eventually create a small community for them ;u; (th world and such)
